A parent is speaking out against her son learning about the life of Jay Z in his English class. The mother says that her son wasn't sent to school to learn about "thug life."
The kids were learning about Jay Z's success in hip-hop, business and they were quizzed on his resilience. That doesn't sound a bad lesson plan at all. Wish my teachers were this cool in middle school.
Well, the mother found the quiz on Jay Z and told Fox News this:
“One of the songs listed on the paper that was brought home was ‘Big Pimpin’. Another song talked about thug life. My child was getting an education about thug life. ...
“We are conservative. We are Christian. And this was brought into my house. That’s why I was so furious. It was a moral issue.”
Do you think this "conservative parent" is taking this English lesson about Jay Z too seriously? Comment!
