Jonah Hill saw an opportunity that he didn't want to miss which is why he took a low pay of $60K for his work in Wolf On Wall Street.
That price, $60, 000, to play a starring role in a high-budget film directed by Martin Scorsese is uncommon, but the move may benefit him in the long run. Jonah Hill has scored an Academy Award nomination because of it and if he wins, that will lead to bigger and higher paying acting gigs. Short term loss for a long term gain.
Howard Stern broke the news when Jonah visited his radio show on Sirius XM.
